The drill bit holder is not glue or nailed in, it's just fitted, so it could be removed easily, if desired. The sides are made of 1/2 inch wood, the top and bottom 1/4 inch plywood. Measures 20 x 12.75 x 5.5 Inches tall. Weighs just over 9 pounds. This handmade old box is in great rustic condition. One hinge is a little loose; there is some splintering, not bad; chips, scratches, gouges, things you expect in a wooden box this old. Tray has rust.
