Description: Antique French c1840 P & H Choisy Canary Ware Yellow Robinson Fiery Hell #12 Plate. 8 1/2” wide. Very good condition, the glaze on the back seems a little off and uneven, may have had a restoration to a hairline but I see no evidence of that from the front. I have acquired a large collection of these Choisy plates and there are variations of the glaze quality as expected from such early examples.
