Description: Description:These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.They are made of a softwood, likely fir and are painted on both sides. Each has 2 glass openings at the top with 2 raised wood panels below.Originally each had 1 large piece of glass but a mullion was added, it can be easily removed if you like. The doors have curved tops and the glass openings follow these curves.Most hardware will need to be replaced.They measure 44.25 inches wide together, 98.25 tall, and almost 2 inches thick.Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. The original lock was filled and replaced with a modern set. The astrigal was cut in the middle. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
