Description: This is a gorgeous little salad plate made by Copeland Spode, it was manufactured supposedly for Tiffany and Company, and measures 6.75” W x 6.75” D x .75” H. It is painted with gorgeous flowers all around the rim, and then gilded. I am not sure of the date of manufacture, but it is an antique. This little plate in particular is showing a little bit of wear especially on the outer rim of gold, still it is just stunning. This piece just caught my eye in the store, and I picked it up, and put it in my cart immediately, because it was just pretty enough that I just had to get it. It was not until I was unpacking my bags at home that I discovered it was Spode. This is definitely a stunner of a pattern, even though it’s showing its age a bit, I don’t feel like its beauty has been at all made less. Please look at the pictures closely, it is part of the description, and can show you much better than I can say what condition the plate is in. I will say it has some color loss on the outer edge of gold, but does not have any chips, scratches, breaks, or repairs.
