Signed "Collins Legitimus", with the famous Legitimus crown and hammer seal, it measures 6-13/16" long with a 4-7/8" wide edge, a 1-1/8" wide X 3-3/8" poll, or end, and a 11/16" X 2-7/16" eye. The edge is good, with a VERY slight chip, as pictured, and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The poll shows some use and wear, as pictured. There are no personal inscriptions from previous owners. This is a nice overall example from a world renowned maker.
