Description: ANTIQUE BUTTER CHURN This early 20th century small dasher style butter churn is 29" tall to the top of the dasher and 18" to the top of the churn. Made from moisture resistant red cedar wood, it has a diameter of 8-1/2" top, 6-1/2" bottom and weighs 6 pounds. It is tight at the chamferred bottom and secured with three heavy duty metal bands. The variable color green paint shows wear & fading and was a later addition. It is in very good well-preserved condition. A very nice old butter churn with good paint.
