Description: Antique Arts And Crafts Oak Mantel Clock With Bronze Plates For Restoration. This lovely antique oak mantel clock has an arts and crafts style case with a wonderful design. The top of the case has a bronze plate held in by an oak strip to the left and right of the top. There are then openings to the top sides, front, and back of the case where the bell is housed and can be seen around the clock. The front of the case is then shaped with more, nicely patinated bronze mounts as well as there being an opening to the bottom of the front. Finally there is a stepped out base with incorporated feet to the front. The dial is then silvered and embossed with Arabic Numerals as well as dot marking the minutes. The dial is then also embossed to the centre with six flowers in a circular pattern. The dial then has two shaped hands. The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. The movement IS NOT IN WORKING ORDER although does come complete with its pendulum and winding key. This clock has a fantastic style and would be worth a considerable amount when serviced! Would make an excellent decorative piece in its own right or would be a perfect project for someone! It measures approximately: - 14.5” / 37cm Tall. - 9.75” / 24.75cm Wide. - 6.5” / 16.5cm Deep.
