Description: This listing is for ONE of the many vintage purses I'll be listing in the next few weeks. I am downsizing my 45 year collection and I have all styles and eras of purses and handbags. All stored in a climate controlled setting, never in a basement or attic. No bad odors and from a non-smoking home. No pets. The condition of most purses is excellent for their ages. I will post plenty of pictures, of all sides, so you can see the details. USUALLY, I show pictures of some of the purses in the last pictures but there will be ONE PURSE PER LISTING. Thanks for looking and I will combine shipping if needed! I DO NOT do returns, all sales are final so please ask any questions before bidding/buying. This listing is for an ANTIQUE purse with a jeweled celluloid lid and crocheted bottom. The top of the lid had green and pink celluloid flowers alternating with amethyst colored stones. I do not know whether the stones are semiprecious or not. There is a celluloid chain attached to the lid that is only 4 1/2 inches long. I’m sure at one point it was a loop. The latch on the front is a working latch that you pull back the top piece to release the lid. Inside the lid is a round beveled mirror. As you can see in the pictures, there is damage to the silvering on the mirror. Fir is not chipped. That is all underneath where the silver layer is damaged. The lid measures 3 inches across. The purse bottom is hand crocheted, and at the very bottom, there are beads attached, as a tassel. It’s barely hanging on by a few threads. The purse is 7 inches long, not counting the chain at the top or the tassel at the bottom.
