Description: Antique 19th C. Caucasian Kazak Bordjalou Perssian Area Rug, 7' x 4', Hand-Knotted. Incredible rug with a beautiful natural-dyed color palette. 100% hand-knotted wool, 7 x 4 ft on the dot. Circa late 19th century. Colors are salmon, ivory, navy, royal blue, baby blue/turquoise, a bit of pale gold, and a hint of brown near the bottom. Great abrash/color variation throughout. Very bright rug! Has a few loose threads, and some noticeable wear in the upper half where the rug has faded to the blue weft. There are two tiny holes near the edges. Pile is a little uneven across the length of the rug, where the distressed sections are low and the non-distressed sections are more low/medium (could potentially be trimmed to even it out). Please see all pictures! No odors, no stains, no dirt.
