Antique 1923 George Dodds Diary Xenia Ohio

Description: I recently acquired some diaries that belonged to George F. Dodds of Xenia Ohio. The family owned The George Dodds & Sons n Granite Company. Each diary measures 5.5 by 2.75 inches. Each one is filled from Jan. 1st to Dec. 31 and sometimes beyond. PLEASE NOTE - George writes that he was on a vacation the first 3 weeks of January so those pages in this one are blank, except for his note. He does have a ledger in the very back where he wrote what he bought and how much he spent. Dinner one time was .60 cents. He writes about going to the office and shop. He tells about the weather and a few other goings on in his life. This is his 1923 diary. He actually used a book from 1910 but this is his busy life of 1923. Before you get to his writing there are pages of information. Like an almanac. Maps. distance tables, latest populations, general information. You get the idea. Please take time to view the photos.
