Never been resprayed, I think there cast iron , now the top seems to have a gilt finish (original) base and stem not as much as you can see, one looks like it has a different plug on it, might not be bad to rewire, but they are in working order, each light turns on by its own switch which is nice as well . they are 61 inches tall and about 9 1/2 inches wide, the bases are marked patent applied for .
