Another Lot of 10 early Columbia 78 rpm records, one sided. See description.

Description: 10 rare, early, one sided Columbia Records 78s. These have average wear-and-tear - particularly since they’re nearly 125 years old. I haven’t played them for years, so I’m only judging visually, but it looks like they should all play through (no guarantees, though). Again, these are all good titles - mostly Collins and Harlan, with a really early Billy Murray in there as well. Please see the other auction I have running (unless it’s ended by the time you read this!) for some of the earlier pressings. 1. The Rambler Minstrel Company (Record H) Introducing “San Antonio” - Billy Murray - Grand Prize #3608 - a couple of light chips along the edge, nowhere near the grooves. 2. I Get Dippy When I Do That Two-Step Dance - Arthur Collins, Grand Prize #3716 3. Ev’ry Little Bit Helps - Arthur Collins - Conditions #3196 4. Oh Didn’t He Ramble - Baritone And Tenor Duet (no doubt Collins and Harlan), Conditions #1492Some wear. Edge chips on non-playing side. This is the case for some of the other titles here, as well. It’s meaningless, since there’s no music on that side, but I thought I should mention it anyway if I see it. 5. Peerless Minstrels Introducing “I Can’t Find Another Girl Like You” - Frank C. StanleyLooks like there might be the very beginning of an edge chip, not affecting play, obviously. 6. Let’s All Go Up To Maud’s - Billy Murray - Conditions #3061 7. Traveling - Collins And Harlan - Conditions #3383 8. I Just Can’t Keep My Feet Still When The Band Begins To Play - Arthur Collins, Grand Prize #3730 - Some pits for about a half inch of the record. Looks like it’ll play through, though. This doesn’t look like needle damage - it looks like 125 year old gunk that was on the record when it was pressed and that’s been worn away over the years. 9. By The Watermelon Vine - Bob Roberts, Conditions #1882 - edge chips on non-playing side of the record. 10. Lovin’ Time - Collins And Harlan - Grand Prize #3611 - edge chip on non-playing side of the record. These are all in sleeves, although I’ve taken them out when I photographed them.
