Description: Clearing out some of my sub-par stock to make way for incoming stock! Get some of these while you can! Hands down my favorite Angraecum species, urschianum comes from the wet rainforests of Madagascar. It is highly endangered due to the logging industry in the area but we have finally been able to establish seed grown populations of this species in cultivation. The crystalline white flowers are about as large as the plant itself with the classic long Angraecum nectary spur. No fragrance detected on this one but who knows since angraecoids tend to release scent at specific hours of the day. Pictures in the first two are of my own plant years ago before it succumbed to crown rot. This species wants to be kept consistently moist but not soggy and ideally would like to be mounted with some moisture retaining material. It is very susceptible to infections but also to desiccation so be sure to keep an eye on how much moisture you are giving. A species near and dear to my heart for the patient and experienced grower.
