Description: Rare Vintage Alessi Mister Meumeu Parmesan Cheese Grater in Cow Shape by Philippe Stark This whimsical cheese grater was introduced in 1992 and is no longer offered by Alessi. Open the lid and there is a stainless steel grater that is attatched to the lid with a magnet. Grated cheese can easily be stored inside Mr. Meumeu. One of the horns has been cleverly designed to be used as a spoon. This cheese grater was purchased in 1994, was rarely used and is in great shape. There has been a color shift with time (see last photo) and the exterior is a bit more yellow than the mint green color of the interior. You would not know there has been a color shift until you compare the exterior with the interior. The color shift is overall and does not appear in patches. As of the listing date, this is the lowest price for this item on Ebay.
