They are lightly played with minimal spindlewear. Bright, undamaged, Silver and Black Decca Wide Band Labels (please see photos). Each of the four sides retains all of the original gloss, and other than some light cosmetic sleevewear from the original paper inner sleeves, there are no marks on any side. Record 1 (SXL.2167) : Excellent : Sides 1 & 6 are in the same Near Mint condition as described above - except that Side 1 has a 1" scratch about mid way into the playing surface that produces clicking. This becomes progressively less and disappears at the end of that mark. Side 6 has no marks and is Near Mint. THE "WALLET-STYLE" COVER : EXCELLENT + EX+ : Please see our Gallery Photos / Present is the name "Griffen" written at the top of the cover (the cover material is likely vinyl) / there are no tears or missing pieces - and it has been well-stored these many decades / there is some dirt showing on the white vinyl portion / the Libretto is Near Mint. As you can see from the photos, the records all come with their original Decca FFSS paper / plastic inner sleeves. We have placed the cover into a separate, protective plastic sleeve. NM-: RECORD HAS LITTLE OR NO INDICATION THAT IT HAS BEEN PLAYED. EX: MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE (LIGHT SCRATCHING/PAPER SCUFFS), BUT IN ALL A RECORD THAT HAS BEEN WELL-CARED FOR. VG+: LESS CARE THAN EX, LIGHT SCRATCHING OR SCUFFING IS MORE EXTENSIVE. STILL VERY PLAYABLE & WILL LIKELY PROVIDE A QUALITY SOUND. VG & BELOW: WHILE PLAYABLE, THIS RECORD HAS BEEN AROUND THE BLOCK. OBVIOUS SIGNS OF WEAR & SHOULD BE CONSIDERED TO BE IN A LOW GRADE. A RECORD GRADED BELOW VG MAY HAVE A VALUE BASED UPON ITS RARITY OR UNIQUENESS. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU CLEAN THIS RECORDING BEFORE PLAYING. RECORDS THAT ARE DECADES OLD CAN ATTRACT & ACCUMULATE DAMAGING FOREIGN MATERIAL THAT REDUCES SOUND QUALITY. THIS IS NORMALLY EASILY CORRECTED WITH A GOOD CLEANING.
