Description: Adchem 488M Double Sided PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) Tape 2" x 50 yds.An 8 mil, clear, double sided tape, clear, with PET (polyester) carrier and removable red polypropylene protective liner. The acrylic adhesive is formulated for long service, high tack and high shear strength. The 1 mil PET carrier provides strength and dimensional stability. Each side of the PET is coated with 3.5 mils of acrylic adhesive for a total of 8 mils (without the liner). The removable red liner provides precise slitting and die-cutting. Suggested applications:Bonding and laminating to wood (sealed is best), metals, rubbers and plastics. Attaching trim in construction and furniture manufacturer.Mounting rubber in transportation uses.Fastening components for electronics.Point of purchase displays.Signage mounting (light weight).
