Description: This is a 6’10” Medium-Light Fast Action casting rod, specifically an Abu Garcia Veritas PLX casting rod. It’s in great shape and has only been used a few times. Only reason I’m selling is because I can’t cast lighter lures on a bait caster to save my life. The only “defect” or “show of use” is a small smudge on the base of the grip from when I fell down a river bank into a thorn bush (2/5 stars, would try again). Rod didn’t get wet or anything other than just a bit of mud that stained it. It could probably get removed with some chemicals but I think it shows character. You can see a picture of the smudge in photo #5. Eyelets and backbone of rod are like the day I bought it. Only reason shipping is a bit steep is because I’ll have to buy a weird box to ship the rod in. Also, I’ll include a protective rod sock / sleeve with your purchase.
