The slide states Old Navajo Indian Woman making rug on a primitive loom. The image shows a Navajo Indian woman in a hogan weaving a rug, 3) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, An Indian Village. The image shows Teepees and Plains Indians in full dress, 4) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, An Indian Holding a Tomahawk. The image shows a Plains Indian, probably Blackfoot or Sioux in full dress holding a tomahawk, 5) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, An Indian Family. The image shows a n Indian family next to their teepee which I believe are Blackfoot Indians, 6) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, An Indian Chief and His Wife. The image shows an Indian Village of teepees with a Plains Indian chief and his wife on horseback, 7) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, Indian Wigwams. The image shows a teepee village which I believe were Blackfoot Indians, 8) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, Indians Playing Indians. The image shows a group of young boys in Indian dress, but not sure if they are Native, but came with a series on true Native Indians, and 9) is a colored glass slide. The original black photo image was hand colored or tinted. The slide states Primary Units, Indians, Making an Indian Bow. The image shows 2 Natives in a teepee crafting a bow. The hand tinted faces appear blurry as I assume too much coloring was applied.The slides show age and wearing in places and the glass is in good condition. Some of the slides may have a little hazy glare in places from taking the picture but are not part of the slide image. Also, portions may look a little blurry in places which was due to the terry cloth white background towel, but all the images are clear and detailed on all the slides. The red paper edging does show age and wearing in places and a few have loosening. The slides are approx. 4” by 3 ¼”. I believe there is a way to turn these images into photos similar to how slides are turned into photographs.Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my items.
