A factory drilled 40 hole hub that was sent to custom tandem maker Terry Osell in Minneapolis, USA when he also had a brick and mortar shop. They were part of a small run of 40 and 48 hole hubs that were sent to Terry. Unlaced and in the original package. Highest quality cup and cone design, with ground and polished bearing races. Designed by Specialized, made in Japan by Sanshin. 100mm spacing, nutted 9x1 solid axles. Ready to be built, and with the forged hub bodies and solid axles, it will take anything you throw at it. Specialized had some of the best hubs on the market, and this one is pretty unique. Great for your Specialized Expedition, Sequoia or other touring bike, applications for heavier riders and of course it's intended use, tandems.
