It has a nice pattern throughout the skin. The coloring is dark brown, gray, and cream. This Texas western diamondback rattlesnake skin was legally harvested in Texas as part of a program to reduce their numbers in the wild. it is glycerin-tanned and is suitable for making boots, wallets, guitar slings, and gun slings. Before making any items with the skin it is up to the artist or crafts person to make sure that the material is suitable for their purpose. Product of USA None of our skins are from California or Oregon. Texas western diamondback rattlesnakes are not endangered. Please note: The snakes are rounded up each year as they are a physical danger to both the public and livestock.
