The valve on this cylinder combo has an adjustable detent, extending the life of your valve WAY past valve designs with fixed detents (What MOST OEM Splitter companies spec). As the detent wears over the years and begins to halt the return of the ram prematurely, you can adjust it, thereby rotating the detent surfaces past the worn areas and extending the life of the valve.
