Description: 2 small 1930's or 40's clockwork tinplate toy cars. Though unmarked they are exactly the same as the Louis Marx speedway car but for one exception. All the speedway cars I have seen have a small leaver on the boot, this is absent from both cars. This leads me to believe they are very likely earlier examples. The car with all 4 red wheels is functioning well however, the one with a replacement blue wheel has issues. It stops & starts & the body has lost it's tabs (see last 2 images) & although it's quite firmly in place it can detach.
