These were produced by private mints other than the usual Sunshine mint. Sunshine mint was raided by the FBI and Secret Service in 2008, so other mints were employed after that. The quality was not as good as the superb quality of Sunshine, but still excellent. I was the wholesale distributor (RCO) for the Liberty Dollar, so my coins are as fresh and direct as you can get them. No Liberty Dollars are currently made and none are being duplicated.
