Vivian Stringer faced the #1 Tennessee Lady Volunteers (34-3) lead by HOF Coach Pat Summit in Cleveland, OH on April 3rd, 2007 & were defeated in the Championship Game 46-59. Tennessee was lead by Candace Parker & Shannon Bobbitt, who were too much for Essence Carson & Kia Vaughn. Rutgers did defeated LSU prior to the Championship Game which was lead by Sylvia Fowles who was a dominant center.
