According to Riedel information, this specific glass was created in 2014 during several workshops with famed Oregon wine producers to develop the tulip shape and slightly flared lip to maximize taste. They are the perfect shape to support the balance of fragility and fresh compact fruit in light-bodied wines from the New World. The wines that Riedel recommends serving in this tumbler in addition to a New World Pinot Noir are: Moulin à vent, Nebbiolo, Nerello Mascalese, Beaujolais Cru, Barbaresco, Blanc de Noirs, Rosé Champagne, and Barolo. The shape is also perfect to enjoy a Brandy or Grand Marnier, too!! These are clear, machine made crystal glasses, and dishwasher safe. Glass volume is approx. 25 oz. and height is 4.88".
