Description: A Priority Flat Rate Padded Envelope full of CACTUS PADS Opuntia Cochenillifera To Eat or To Plant I'll stuff at least 2+ pounds of fresh cactus pads from my own plants into a USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelope, from 6-12 (depending on the size of the pads) - much more than the 1-4 pads offered from most other sellers. I've had this plant in my front yard for many years, then a tortoise breeder asked if I could send him a box. Aha! Why not sell them on Ebay? I'd like to offer this great tortoise, uromastyx or iguana food for you to feed your pets. I use these pads to feed my uromastyx lizard and he loves it. This particular species has no spines, just a few hairs which are easily rubbed off. You can also hold them under a flame to burn them off. You could even cook the pads and eat them yourself. I've read that cactus has many health benefits (I'll let you do the research yourself.) I like grilling the pads and using the meat in salsa or to thicken a soup, or chopping them up for a fresh salad. If you want to grow a cactus of your own, just shove a pad into the ground (or not). The plant in the last photo grew from a random pad I threw on the ground (really! It's now 7' tall!). The 5th photos shows the plant at age 1, the last what the plant looks like now. These are extremely fast growing plants, and only need watering a few times a year.
