Description: You are bidding on one box of these, but not necessarily the exact box pictured. I have a few for sale, and all are in similar or better condition to the one pictured. What can be said about this set other than it might be the worst set of the entire 1980s? 1988 Fleer was a close second, but I think the Donruss issue was uglier. Ugly blue borders, poor quality cardstock, and an anemic rookie class led to an issue that was largely panned upon release and hasn't been revisited favorably in modern times like other sets (1986 Topps) have. Even the box was ugly, with a huge visage of Dale Murphy grinning like a goober, holding up his own card like some meme straight out of 1980s hell. I think the only way to make this issue worse was to fill it with 1990 Donruss cards instead. In any case, the nostalgia factor is there and you can pick these up for way less than $1/pack, meaning that you can relive your youth for very little monetary investment. If you're like me, you'll rip into these packs right next to a trash can so you can throw them out immediately after opening them and pulling your favorite players. I think just myself alone, I've ripped and thrown away enough 1988-1991 Donruss cards to remake a new Liberty State Park. $10 shipping to the lower 48, $3 for additional boxes, will combine shipping.
