Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1977 Martin D-28 dreadnought acoustic guitar. This guitar was made in the USA in 1977 and the guitar comes as pictured with the original hard-shell case. The guitar is a great playing and sounding instrument with a lovely rich and full tone that D-28's are known for. The guitar is in very good overall condition but is an older guitar so please review the description and pictures and message with any questions. The guitar is all original and set up well and plays great. The action is comfortable but typical of 1970's Martin's and measures 4/32nds on the 12th fret-low E string. The saddle is fairly low but still has a break angle but could possibly be lowered further if desired. To me the action is excellent where it is to be and balances volume with playability very nicely. The bridge has likely been reset at some point in the past. There is some very minor cracking between the bridge pins, see pics. There is also some finish blemish between the bridge and sound hole-It's hard to see unless in the right light. I would guess someone misused a solvent or cleaner or something like that. Like I said, it's very minor and barely noticeable but the buyer should be aware of it. The guitar has two repaired side cracks on the treble side but no top of back cracks. The cracks have been professionally repaired. The guitar shows a fair amount of nicks, dings and scratches around the guitar. The finish is original and the guitar looks great but there is some natural finish checking. Please look at the pictures and message with questions. The guitar comes as pictured with the original blue-plastic Martin protector case. The case shows some wear but is fully functional and the guitar will be expertly packed for safe shipping.. Thanks for looking,,
