On the front side it has an Arabic Eagle. On the Obverse side it says the Islamic Year ١٣٧٨(1378) AH on the left and the right ١٩٥٩(1959) with ١٩٥٨ (1958) toward the top center to Commemorate the year of the short lived Union. As well as العربية المتحدة or United Arab Republic along the edge and at the bottom قروش or Paistres with ١٠ in the middle with is 10 in Arabic
