Description: Here is another used item that we recently acquired. This is the center tail light insert for the 56 Chevys including the Belair. This is only the center part you see in the pictures, it is not the whole tail light housing and it is for the LEFT or DRIVERS side of the car so this would be the gas door opening piece. It is not in the best of condition but it is still very useable. It has the little lever that opens the gas door on the top but in picture number 3 you can see there is a small hole in one side of that little lever. The lever still moves side to side to open it but it just has a hole in it. The lenses are cracked and dirty and will need to be replaced. If you giant size the pictures of the chrome you will see it has quite a bit of pitting in it so again, it isn't the best in the world. The backside has both mounting arms intact to mount this to your tail light so those are not broken off. It has both the light and reverse light sockets in it but the wires have been cut so you will need to splice onto them. If your center piece is missing or broken this would work.
