Description: Here is a lot of four (4) different tin friction powered convertible automobiles made by Linemar Toys of Japan (which was Japan made Marx Toys). There are four different colors in this lot: red, blue, green, and gray. These are all original, with their rubber wheels all present and accounted for, their tin bumpers and windshield strips all here, and their friction motors all still working. They do have the normal loss of the clear "windshield glass" that was on them, but I have seen folks take a piece of clear glass (like maybe one of those report covers you can get at Staples) and make those. I believe that these were used as loads on some of those auto carriers that came from Japan under the Linemar name, but they may have also been "separate sale" toys, or used in other applications as well. Four different at one time will go a long way towards filling up that autoloader! The photos show the cars from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the pics for size reference (they are about 3 5/8 inches long), plus I tried to take closeups to show that all 4 do have the Linemar Japan logo stamped into their undercarriages.
