Description: Hi, This auction is for a Country style 1940’s quilt with a pattern of small calico flowers framed inside a square. The best part of this quilt is the fabulous scalloped hem with ice cream cone shapes all the way around. Colors are pink, turquoise and white. . The quilt is nicely hand stitched, even, close stitches. Excellent condition : very sturdy, good color retention. One small hole about the size of a postage stamp which could be easily mended. A couple of light yellow spots. Measures 80” by 80”. The quilt was purchased at an estate sale here in North East Ohio. The owner collected quilts from different places she would visit. This quilt has been gently used and I carefully laundered it. Striking scalloped hem, calming colors, nice quilting. Would give a fresh look to any bedroom.
