Tailspin Tommy was an air adventure comic strip and the first aviation themed comic. It ran from 1928-1942, and by 1931 was published in over 250 newspapers across America. It was originally distributed by Bell Syndicate, and later by United Features. This panel #2538 features airplanes in multiple panels. Dimensions of this inked art are 26" wide x 6-7/8" tall, and dimensions of the paper are 28-7/8" wide x 7-1/2" tall. Condition is very good with no foxing and no tears.
