Description: Traditional Hot Rods look great with original wishbones. But to make room for bigger engine / transmission wishbones need to be cut and re-attached to the frame or crossmember. As the popular Ford Model A chassis frame doesn't curve as the '32-'34 frames do, longer frame tabs are required to position the wishbone or hairpin in the correct position. This split wishbone kit includes 2 weld bungs to be welded to the cut wishbones. The extra large 3/8" thick frame tabs have 5/8" thick 7 degree tapered inserts TIG welded into position to accept the Tie Rod Ends. The Tie Rod Ends and jam nuts have an 11/16-18 thread to match the bungs. Old School style with zerk fittings for manual greasing.
