Description: Here we have an interesting piece of economic and numismatic history: German 1000 million Mark banknote from 1923. Weimar Republic era bill showing what happens to currency under rampant inflation. Solid overall condition. Using Littleton Coins standards, I'll rate this at F+/VF-. Found among my Grandfather's effects, and he was all over with the Army Air Corps before and after WWII, so I'm going to have to assume he acquired it during that time period. In my family for over 70 years and ready to take a place in your collection. The photos are of the very note you are bidding on, not "similar" items. I do not accept returns, but I will gladly provide further photos or information about these pieces until you are comfortable. If you do have any concern with a purchase from me, please contact me.
