Description: This listing is for a 1922 D Peace Dollar NGC certified MS66+. It is an intensely lustrous extraordinary coin with minimal toning. A remarkable early die state struck from rusty dies and a contributing factor to the high grade (not to be confused with milk or rinse spots as the pics might suggest). Rusty and pitted dies are common though out the Morgan and Peace Dollar series, but rarely encountered where you could practically see exactly how the new dies looked as they sat around waiting to be used.
