THREE SCANS FOR SALE PLEASE REVIEW ALL 3 IMAGES: ITEM ONE: ONE advertising LETTERHEAD ITEM TWO: ONE advertising Postal Cover(envelope) from the THE MURRAY COMPANY Manufacturers of cotton seed oil mill and cotton ginning machinery in DALLAS, TEXAS in the year 1917. The 3rd scan shows that this letterhead has a very interesting WATERMARK of the S. D. Murray facility. I had to alter the true color of the paper TO PINK to get the watermark to surface. Very clearly, you can see it when you hold the letterhead up to the light. The vignette of the letterhead is so very finely engraved that it has what I call " banknote quality of printing ". BOTH letterheads have the same watermark on them. Names listed at the top: John H. McDonough as President & General Manager. Charles S. Barry as Secretary & Treasurer. W. H. Camp as Assistant General Manager. N. B. Henry as Chief Engineer. On the second scan, this letter is signed by J. H. McDONOUGH ( John H. McDonough ) who was the President & General Manager of the company. CONDITION: Letterhead has normal letter folds and in very good condition. The advertising postal cover has the upper right corner missing but, to my eyes, the stamp does not appear to be damaged. The stamp is perforated ( is perforated or has perforations ) . The "EBAY ITEM" thing is just a loose piece of paper that is not attached to the item that is for sale. Approximate size is 8 1/2" X 11".
