Description: 1916 San Francisco Mint Wood Grain “Woody” Lincoln Wheat Cent Penny Improper Copper Alloy Mix Error. Pretty sure this qualifies as a woody. There are some inconsistent visible wheat lines and the cheek and jaw bones don’t look separated. So, I think it would be “Very Good to Fine”. However, there is a post mint damage of a gouge between the I and N of IN stretching to top of head. It’s too worn to see if it matches Wexler’s RPM for 1916. Nice pretty Coin. Describing what I see to the best of my abilities. I welcome corrections from all you coin experts! Please look carefully at all photos as they are part of description. I will update listing whenever I can if new information on coin is discovered. Shipping can be combined. Shipping prices are set by USPS by weight and zipcode. I do NOT set shipping prices. It would be nice to mail like a letter, but eBay requires tracking. Ebay standard envelope is set up and available if eligible. Thank you, LRH
