Description: 1892 P Indian Head Cent. The coin in the pictures is the coin you will receive. Note : Full strikes on the obverse & reverse, Very lustrous and not many bag marks. Cartwheels on both sides. Golden red with a satiny luster. I’m new to EBay and have been collecting rare coins since 1982. Most of my coins were bought at coin shows from all over the country. Some of my Morgan silver dollars were bought at the bank in the early 80s you would give the teller at the bank $20.00 and you could get a roll of 20 Morgan silver dollars, if I only knew at the time !. Most of what I’ll be listing for now is cents (Indian Head, lots of 1909 - 1929 wheat cents) for now, I’ll see how it goes I have a ton of them. I love old coins BU ones and I always did my best to find well struck lustrous coins. Coin grading services : my first and last time I tried it, as the saying goes if you want graded coins buy graded coins. Many years ago a friend / business associate had and still owns a pretty big coin shop. They purchased two original bags of Morgan silver dollars they sent them in to one of the biggest coin graders all came back MS from MS 60 to MS 65. In short, the grades were all over the place. I purchased five coins from him all graded MS 63 in my opinion they were very undergraded, beautiful coins very few bag marks very deep strikes, superb luster I cut them out of the holders sent all five in and they all came back as cleaned. Cleaned coins: If they don’t have hairlines (scrubbed) and the luster is not stripped from them IMO they are not cleaned, dipped is unmistakable. It’s ironic PCGS & NGC clean coins daily NGC uses NCS to do their coin cleaning they both have a service for it for a fee and they call it restoration (cleaning) they “restore” them by removing PVC damage, toning and milk spots and those coins still can get a MS grade without Cleaning being on the label. YouTube has a few videos on it, can’t find it email me and I’ll send you a link. All coins will be shipped the day after they are purchased Monday - Friday.Priority mail 1-3 day delivery, tracking provided. Pictures: I’m doing my best they are not easy to take pictures of. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
