Description: 1870’s to 1880’s Lee Richmond cdv. Published by Story of Boston. Lee played for the Boston Red Stockings in 1879. He played three seasons MLB in Worcester directly after. Oberlin Prep and Brown University alum. Lee’s first season MLB was the season for Boston. He became the first pitcher in MLB history in 1880 to throw a perfect game. Lee has some distinct facial features that standout. His eyes and ears are not symmetrical. The popeye and different size ears become easy to spot. I also have a Worcester uniformed tintype of Lee. It’s nice t as affordable for those interested. Cdv is about 2 by 4 inch in size. Stains, toning and wear. Pinhole at the top center. Feel free to ask questions.
