It is from the German Bilder Atlas, considered the most extensive lexicon of natural and scientific images of the 19th century, published in Leipzig by Brockhaus, 1874. It is labeled in German. A facsimile copy of the title page is included. It is being sold as a single sheet from the Atlas, not matted nor framed, as seen in the pic. An excellent source for publishing scholars since the copyrights ran out many years ago. Size: The image area measures approximately 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches (22x30cm) on a 10 1/2 by 13" (27x34cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic. Condition: The print is in Very Good condition for its age with light tonal ageing, blank on the reverse, printed on strong paper. There is minor darkening around the edges, otherwise the print is very clean that would frame up nicely, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual print.
