Description: 1873 VF+ Indian Head Cent - Better Date MY COMMENTS: THE GOOD NEWS: Nice Original Looking Better Date Mid-Grade Coin. Nice Chocolate Brown Color, Decent LIBERTY that is typical of a VF grade. Very bold rims, Full Date, Nice Feather detail is showing, and nice detail in the leaves on the reverse. The leaves are weak on the left most likely from grease in the coin die when the coin was struck. There is some dirt around the reverse design. This is common for many Indians. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell. THE BAD NEWS: Not really bad but there are a few old dings & scratches on the obverse. Sometimes things like this can be expected because these coins were used as real money long ago. Most coins have flaws, it's just a matter of what is acceptable for the grade.
