Illustrated with woodcut vignettes thoughout. 8vo, bound in period blindruled green half calf over green cloth covered boards, spine with four gilt decorated raised bands and red morocco label, all page edges speckled brown. Period green endpapers. The contents are collated and complete: [2], v-vi, 882, [2]pp, numerous vignette illustrations throughout text. Measuring approx 12.5cm by 18.5cm. Condition: The binding is holding firmly and good condition, rubbing and marking to surface from handling, extremities bumped and abraded, very short split at head/foot of upper hinge. Contents in good condition if lightly toned with some sporadic browning of leaves, light offsetting, occasional minor spots or marks. Pencil ownership to titlepage.
