Free Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: The listing is for the pair: an engraved antique map and print approximately 155 years old with original hand coloring as issued. They are from Morse and Gaston's Diamond Atlas, published in New York by Samuel Gaston, 1857. A facsimile copy of the title page will also be included for authenticity. It is by Samuel Gaston and Sidney Morse, the brother of Samuel Morse, the inventor of the telegraph. Their father was Jedidiah Morse, also a mapmaker and publisher in New York. They are not mounted, matted nor framed, being sold as two separate sheets as seen in the pic. Size: The image areas measure approximately 5 by 6 inches (12x15cm) on 6 by 7 1/4" (15x18cm) pages with a margin all around for framing as seen in the pic. Condition: They are in Very Good condition as seen in the pics. Other than a few small specks in the margin and some minor light handling around the margins, they are both very clean with nice color, see the pics for more on condition.
