Possibly the same Henry Reeve who was an English journalist. This work is an alphabetical list of all words present to Milton's works. With citations of which works they are present and a sentence they are found in. Compiled by Guy Lushington Prendergast, the son of Guy Lennox Prendergast of the Bombay Civil Service. Lushington was an amateur Englsih cricketer who was associated with Cambridge University. He also wrote a concordance of Homer's Iliad. A useful and scarce reference work for the avid Milton reader and scholar. CONDITION In a half calf binding with marbled paper boards. Externally, patches of rubbing to the extremities and joints. Crack to the front joint. Heavy rubbing to the head and tail of spine as well as to raised bands. Front hinge is strained but firm. Prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, Henry Reeve. Light crease to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with just the odd spots.
