Description: Up for Grabs is this 16mm Sci-Fi film print: FS: 16mm Print of COLOSSUS: The Forbin Project (1970) Here we have a beautiful Scope, Technicolor print of the film that inspired the screenplay for James Cameron’s THE TERMINATOR. It has great color registrtion all the way through. There are very few splices in this print, almost exclusively at Tech lab joins. Reel 1 is mounted on a 1600’ reel and has light to mild wear. There is one line that stays on screen near the edge of frame for few mins during one lab section. Reel 2 comes mounted on a 2200’ reel and is in excellent shape without any remarkable wear. Compete with logos, rating card, and credits. You’d be hard pressed to find one in better shape. Projection is smooth and CinemaScope, the way it was intended to be viewed. You will need a scope lens to view this film properly. PLOT: Thinking this will prevent war, the US government gives an impenetrable supercomputer total control over launching nuclear missiles. But what the computer does with the power is unimaginable to its creators. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
