Description: I want to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. This is one of those Orange Value Packs from Cyber Hobby (Dragon) that has become very hard to find. I figure this is the right time for someone else to enjoy this or to give it as a much-welcomed gift. This Super Value Pack kit is a repackaging of the very successful Dragon T-34/85 kit (#6066) with the bonus of a highly detailed set of Chinese Volunteer figures from the Korean War. I could only find a handful of listings for this kit on eBay (mostly from overseas sellers), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this very quickly. Here is some of the info I found from around the web: The cyber-hobby.com site has a page that simply shows the box art and has the following information about this kit: When the People's Volunteer Army (PVA) of China intervened in the war for the first time in October 1950, this fresh and surprise input of troops helped reverse all the gains that the United Nations Command had made up till that point. Cyber-Hobby is now offering a useful 1/35 scale Orange Box set that depicts a Chinese tank and soldiers of the PVA that fought in the Korean War. Cyber-Hobby's Orange Box series is well known for offering excellent value for money, and this is certainly the case with this 1/35 scale Chinese combo. The T-35/85 tank specifically represents a typical late/post-war variant of the famous Russian tank, possessing spoked wheels. It's accompanied by a set of Chinese volunteer soldiers, a subject that’s rather rare in plastic in this scale. The figures are versatile, with parts able to be swapped and modified to create novel poses such as for a 'human wave' attack. With tanks usually accompanying infantry in PVA operations, these two items are just made for each other. Therefore, this PVA set is a real steal, or should that be “real steel”? - High quality Cartograf decals included- Bonus set of four Chinese Volunteer (PVA) figures Scalemates.com shows that this is a 2019 release (with new parts) based on the original Dragon T-34/85 kit (DML #6066) from 1997 that has been the basis of almost 20 releases across the Dragon, Cyber Hobby and Platz brands. They have the box art and a link to download the 10-page instruction set from the original Dragon kit (DML #6066). There are also many links to aftermarket parts and resources that could be useful. I couldn’t find any reviews of this Super Value Pack kit (CHC #9158), but there are many excellent reviews for previous kits (like DML #6203) which should apply, even though this release has the upgrade of a set of four Volunteer figures. Terry Ashley published a First Look Review of the #6203 T-34/85 UTZ Mod. 1944 kit on the perthmilitarymodelling.com site. We get shots of each sprue and the decals, but he talks mostly about the differences between this kit and the original kit (#6066). He was pleased with the original kit so he liked this kit as well, saying in his Conclusion: “Overall a simple yet well detailed kit that will look good out of the box or with any amount of added details.” Cookie Sewell did an enthusiastic First Look Review of the #6203 T-34/85 UTZ Mod. 1944 kit on misc.kitreview.com that starts with a history of the production of T-34s. He feels these are ‘the most accurate series of T-34 kits on the market’ and especially liked the track links. His straightforward Conclusion was: “Overall, this is a nice kit and does make an accurate model of its subject.” This kit is in a large, sturdy box about 15” x 9.5” x 3”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is in great shape and still sealed with two small tape disks, so it is factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with over 400 grey plastic parts, a sheet of Cartograf decals and a bonus set of four Chinese Volunteer figures. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays winning bid and for a limited time, this item is offered with $9 Flat Rate Shipping in the US! No reserve and a low starting bid. Check out my other great auctions for combined shipping. Good luck! Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder). As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
