Too narrow causes a white wear mark on the print head resulting in print head damage.When it comes to thermal transfer printing, it is always a combination of printer, setting, label stock, ribbon. Make sure the printer is in good condition, decent and matched label and ribbon are used, settings on printing speed, temperature and pressure are right. For example, you won’t get good image when the temperature setting is too low and too high will burn the film which is not good for the print head.
